With regular masking tape, paint spray will build up on the edge. This build up will form a ridge when dried.
Once the tape is removed, you are left with a rough tape line equal to the tape thickness.
With the folded edge tape dispensed from an EzEdger, the tape floats slightly off the surface allowing paint spray to disperse along the tape line.
This blending results in a smooth feathered edge. A big time-saver.
